Does the 3G mobiles give faster internet speed as compared to other Phones?
Does the 3G mobiles give faster internet speed as compared to other phones even if the service provider is not supporting 3G?
For example, I use Airtel internet at a speed of 115 kb/s using my ordinary GPRS mobile Phone. Airtel does not support 3G. Now if I use a 3G phone, will the downloading speed be increased to some extent?
No my friend it does not increase the speed at all, even i was under the wrong impression that the speed increases, so I bought Samsung star 3g just for net, and i just wasted my money…no change in speed………….even for 3g phones, u need to activate 3G on ur cell 1st, and for that the net rates are very very high, it doesnt, the only good thing about 3G phone is that it supports 3g, thats it…
