Here’s my story and how I got the cheapest cell phone plans. You can use my story to save yourself money every month.

Never, ever accept the first offer. When your phone carrier gives you they’re first offer it’s only a test to them. It was created to get you off the phone as fast as they can so they can get a bonus. Not at all to help you with the cheapest cell phone plans. (Don’t fault them – remember, this is a script!) It’s going to be weak. With this case, I had told them I was talking to them because I can’t pay the monthly bills any more and the regular rate they gave me won’t work, and the rate increase they sent me. The Manager went back to the original six months of the regular rate… I told him that wouldn’t work. (I was looking for the cheapest cell phone plans I could find.)

So the next thing to do is ask him for another perk. This is the time to ask for more minutes, text messages, or other features you are in need of. They’ll do it! In my situation I didn’t really need anything more, I told him “You’re doing an awesome job and I’m happy. Let’s get it done. But first, How about we seal this deal with 3 months free?” Yes, Ask for 3…

The Rep will most likely laugh a bit at this comment. At this point they realized them dealing with a pro at negotiating. The cheapest cell phone plans are my only thoughts! Oh, this is an awesome situation to be in. What you’re doing here is creating a relationship with them. If the rep bocks at the comment just tell them “do this one last thing for me and that’ll do it?”

Back 1 minute later he offered me 1 month free. So I replied, Awesome! You are the man! You are the best!

Everyone likes gratitude even you and I. A pat on the back will always take you far and look at what just happened within 20 minutes, I got the cheapest cell phone plans I have ever had. It only took 13 minutes and “Shazam” I’m saving money!
